# Foreign Claims: A flight of Gold distance and Diamond goal flown in one flight may be claimed at $40

If you claim one or two legs of your silver or gold badge a credit will be sent to you at no cost. Put this credit in your green gliding certificate book and forward it when your badge is complete. This will be the only record that the flight has been registered. All evidence will be returned to you.

Direct deposit into the GFA Bank account - BSB:013-442, Account 3047 29562. Credit card payment is accepted. Please supply details with your claim.

The Claim and what to send

1. Complete claim form signed by the Official Observer
2. Certificate book for endorsement
3. Uncut negative film with all sections of the flight as per the FAI rule or approved data logger disk
4. Barograph trace endorsed as per the FAI rule or approved data logger disk
5. Payment made payable to the GFA (credit card payment is accepted)

Note:

  • Declaration board for photography evidence must contain 10 relevant points of information on the flight;
  • Gold and Diamond height claims to have gain of height certificate or barograph calibration documentation attached;
  • A logger documentation is to be presented on a disc as an IGC file, or emailed to the FAI Office;
  • The sequence of the photograph evidence must be. Declaration board, Turn points, Declaration board or tail photograph of the aircraft. Only that strip of film is required.

The Payment

  1. Cheques are to be send with the claim
  2. Credit card payments can be made directly to the GFA Secretariat - a credit card levy  applies
  3. Direct deposits can be made into the GFA cheque account:
